Lubrication of chain drives is critical.Proper lubrication can significantly reduce chain hinge wear and extend service life

There are usually four types of lubrication methods for chain drives:
Ⅰ- Manually supply oil with oil pot or oil brush regularly;
Ⅱ-Drip oil lubrication, use an oil cup to drip oil through the oil pipe to the gap between the inner and outer chain plates of the loose edge;
Ⅲ-Oil bath lubrication or splash lubrication, adopts a sealed transmission case, the former chain and sprocket are partially immersed in oil, and the latter uses a larger diameter oil slinger to splash oil;
Ⅳ-The oil pump is lubricated by pressure oil injection, and the oil pump is used to continuously supply oil to the chain through the oil pipe, and the circulating oil can play the role of lubrication and cooling.

The kinematic viscosity of lubricating oil used in chain drive is about 20-40mm2/s at operating temperature.Only the places where the speed is very slow and cannot supply oil can be replaced with grease.
